Linen & Towels

We collect bedsheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, tablecloths, tea towels and bath towels. Please ensure they are clean and dry before bagging them. Note that we do not collect pillows, duvets or blankets, so if those are what you are clearing out, your local textile bank or household waste recycling centre is the best route. For everything else on the linen front, we are very glad to take it off your hands.

Household Items

Household items covers a broad range of the everyday objects that accumulate in cupboards and spare rooms: ornaments, vases, picture albums, candles, clocks, small decorative items, and general bric-a-brac in reasonable condition. If you are unsure whether something qualifies, the guiding question is whether it is something a charity shop could sell. If the answer is yes, it almost certainly belongs in your donation bag.

Booking is straightforward. You choose a date that suits you, fill your bags with the items you want to donate, and leave them on your doorstep — or just inside your gate — before the collection team arrives. Yes. While we cover a wide range, there are items we are unable to accept for practical or safety reasons. These include pillows, duvets, blankets, socks and underwear, nightwear, curtains, rugs, mirrors, suitcases, furniture of any kind, large appliances, exercise equipment, bikes, prams, cots, and anything broken, hazardous or very heavy. If you are unsure about a specific item, it is always worth checking before packing your bag. For items we cannot take, your local household waste recycling centre or a specialist textile bank is usually the best next step.
