As the UK's biggest doorstep collection company, Anglo Doorstep Collections offers free, regular charity collections of clothes and a wide range of household items - straight from your doorstep. What Donations Do We Collect?

See the list of charity donations we collect below. Please ensure all items are in good condition, as they’ll be rehomed and put back into circulation.

We kindly ask that household items are no larger than a medium box, so our drivers can safely lift and carry your donations to the van.

There’s a limit of 10 boxes of books per collection. There’s no limit on any other items — clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brac and more — so feel free to really clear out.

If you have 20+ bags or boxes, please make sure everything is eligible for collection. To confirm a large collection, email us at info@anglodoorstepcollections.co.uk with your collection date, full address and postcode.

At Anglo Doorstep Collections, we make donating clothes and household items simple and impactful.

This is all done by offering a free charity collection service right from your doorstep. We accept a variety of items, including clothes, shoes, books, towels, bedding, and household goods, all of which are carefully sorted and distributed to support those in need.

When packing your donations, please sort them into the following categories:

  • Clothes (including all textiles, shoes, and linen)
  • Books
  • Bric-a-Brac (such as toys, electrical items, CDs, DVDs, etc.)

Once the donations reach our warehouse, they are categorised, and buyers request items such as winter coats, toys, or books. Proceeds, after covering operational costs, go to our partner charities. We also donate items directly to animal shelters, children’s organisations, and women’s shelters, ensuring everything our customers donate is re-homed.

We’re passionate about raising nationwide awareness on how everyone can make a difference for the planet, support charities, and clear their homes. By decluttering and organising your home, you not only create a sense of harmony but also contribute positively to our environment.   • Pack your donations into bags or boxes for easy collection.

  • If you have a large volume of items  for donation (20 or more bags/boxes), please ensure everything is eligible for collection. To confirm your large collection, email us at info@anglodoorstepcollections.co.uk with your collection date, full address, and postcode.
  • Books: We have a limit of 10 medium-sized boxes per collection. We ask that the boxes be no bigger or heavier than what our drivers could carry and move independently.
