Advance is a women-only charity, providing emotional and practical support to women. All our services are free and confidential. A large part of our work is crisis intervention – for women who require urgent help and face imminent danger.

We are proud to partner with The Children’s Book Project, a registered charity that works with schools, nurseries, and other community settings across the UK to redistribute thousands of new and gently used books to children and their families. Their mission is simple but powerful: to reduce book poverty and ensure every child has the opportunity to read, regardless of their background.

Red Nose Day is a fundraising event run by Comic Relief. Comic Relief is a UK charity which aims to create a just world free from poverty. The money raised is used to transform lives in the UK and around the world. We rasied an amazing £500.00 in just 3 weeks!
We have raised a total of £36,000 for MediCinema. They transform the mental resilience of thousands of hospital patients every year, helping them cope with the challenging and often frightening situations they are facing. They run free, state-of-the-art cinemas inside hospitals, allowing patients to leave the confines of the ward while still in their beds to have precious ‘normal’ time with family.
