We Have Partnered With Advance

Advance
Advance
Advance is an award-winning national charity that, each year, supports over 8,000 women and children affected by domestic abuse to be safe and take control of their lives. Advance also supports women in the criminal justice system or at risk of offending, to break the cycle of re-offending and to thrive, understanding that abuse and experience of the criminal justice system are often linked.

“When I first came to Advance I was a vulnerable, damaged and scared. As a result of an abusive relationship, my self-confidence and self-worth were annihilated and the abuse was physical to the point that I wasn’t sure of what could happen next. My Advance IDVA (Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate) was the only person from any organisation that I really felt was fighting my corner and looking out for me. She kept her word and was always willing to talk on the phone beyond the call of duty. Advance has been an advocate, a friend, a supporter and a therapist. Thank you Advance”
Domestic Abuse Survivor, Advance

Their vision is a world in which all women and girls can lead safe, equal lives that are both violence and crime-free. Advance works towards this by delivering innovative, holistic and partnership based services that empower women to thrive, and not just merely survive.
