Leave out anything heavily stained, torn or genuinely past it. A little selectiveness here means a much higher proportion of what you donate will reach someone who can actually use it.
Pack Clean & Dry
No need to iron anything or fold to a particular standard — sorting is done further down the line. What does matter is that everything is clean and dry before it goes in the bag. Give items a loose fold, seal the bag securely, and it is ready. A king-size duvet cover will sit comfortably in a standard bin bag if folded rather than stuffed, and a well-sealed bag keeps the contents dry while it waits on the doorstep.
Leave Out & We’ll Do the Rest
The evening before your collection day we will send you your time slot, so you will know when to expect the driver. You do not need to be at home — simply leave the bags somewhere clearly visible outside your property, such as by the front gate or on the doorstep, and the driver will take things from there.
