Anglo Doorstep Collections offers free doorstep collections of clothes and household goods across the entire Gloucestershire area! Your generous donations are rehomed around the world, helping people who need access to affordable household essentials. These items are sold at low cost to those who can’t buy them brand new, and a portion of the proceeds goes directly to support our wonderful partner charities.

How Do Our Free Doorstep Collections Work?
Donating your unwanted items has never been easier! With Anglo Doorstep Collections, there’s no need to lug heavy bags to charity shops or hunt for donation bins — we’ll come straight to your door, even if you’re not home. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Book Your Collection Online
Head to our online booking form and fill in a few quick details. Choose a date that works best for you — there’s no need to enter card details or pay a deposit.

Gather your unwanted items and pack them into any bags or boxes you have at home.
If you’re planning to leave them outside for collection, make sure to label them clearly with “Anglo Doorstep Collections” so our driver can easily spot them.

Step 3: Relax and Track Your Collection
On the day of your collection, sit back and relax! You can track our driver in real time to see when they’ll arrive.
- If you’re home, you can hand over the bags in person.
- If you’re out, our driver will collect them from your doorstep.
Step 4: We’ll Do the Rest
Once your items are collected, they head to our warehouse, where we carefully sort and distribute them to the places and people who need them most.
What Charities Do We Support?
After you donations are sold as affordable second-hand good, approximately 60% of the proceeds will go to support one of our partner charities. We have raised over a massive £400,000 for charity since 2021! Our current partner charities we support are Action for Children, Advance, Ecologi & Together for Short Lives.

Where Do Your Doorstep Donations Go From Gloucestershire?
From the moment we collect your donations, they’re handled with care. At our warehouse, we sort and prepare them for delivery, reusing plastic bags for protection and recycling all cardboard. Some items stay close to home, supporting UK communities, while others are shipped overseas to places including Africa, South America, and South East Asia.
We choose each location based on where help is needed most. Once there, your donations are sold at accessible prices, and part of the proceeds is shared with our partner charities.
