Giving away your unwanted clothes and household items has always been easy with Anglo Doorstep Collections. Now it’s even easier. Our brand-new app is free to download on iPhone and Android, and it puts everything about your collections in one place: booking, reminders and the big day itself.

Booking
Book a collection in three quick steps
No forms to fill in and no phone calls. Open the app, tap Book, and answer three short questions. A little van even drives along the progress bar as you go.
Step 1
Pick a day
You’ll only see the days our van is in your area, so you can’t pick a date we can’t do.
Step 2
Choose a cause
Pick one of our five partner charities (Action for Children, RSPCA, Together for Short Lives, Advance and Ecologi), or choose “no preference”.
Step 3
Say where the bags will be
On the doorstep, in the porch, left with a concierge, or somewhere else, so our driver knows exactly where to look.
That’s it, you’re booked in! One tap adds the collection to your phone’s calendar. Next-day collections can be booked until 4pm. Just remember to have your donations out by 8am on the day. Got a big clear-out? If you have more than 20 bags or boxes, tell us what you’re donating (you can add a photo too) and we’ll check the van has room.
Your collections
Every collection, all in one place
The Collections tab shows every upcoming collection at every address on your account. Change the date or cancel with a single tap.
Booking for a family member or a second property? Add more than one address to the same account. And because bookings stay in sync with the website, a collection you make online shows up in the app, and the other way round.
Know when the van is coming
The evening before, you’ll get a two-hour arrival window. On the day, you’ll see which driver is coming and how many stops away you are. Tap Track my driver to follow the van on a live map.
Reminders
Helpful reminders, never too many
The app gives you a nudge at the moments that matter:
- Three days before your collection
- The evening before, with your arrival window
- Once your donations have been collected
- If we couldn’t collect, with a quick way to rebook
Notifications only go out between 8am and 10pm. Swiped one away? It’s not lost. Every message stays in the Messages tab.
Afterwards
Say thank you to your driver
After your collection, you can rate your driver out of five stars, leave a comment and even send them a tip if you’d like. The tip goes straight to the driver.
It’s also the quickest way to book your next collection, or to share the service with a friend.
