Pack your kitchenware
Wash everything thoroughly and take a moment to check each piece — anything with a cracked base, a snapped handle or a worn non-stick surface isn’t suitable for reuse and should be set aside rather than packed. For heavier items like a cast-iron frying pan or a tall stack of baking trays, split the load between two smaller boxes rather than cramming it all into one that’s impossible to lift. Nest pots inside one another to save space, and tuck loose smaller items into a bag so nothing rattles around on the journey.
